Ingredients
- 1 lb Chicken breast, cubed
- 1 cup Pineapple chunks (fresh or canned)
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- ¼ cup Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 2 cloves Minced garlic
- 1 tsp Grated ginger
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Skewers (wooden or metal)
Instructions
- Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well mixed.
- Marinate the Chicken and Pineapple: Add cubed chicken breast and pineapple chunks to the marinade. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat Your Grill: Set your grill to medium-high heat while the ingredients are marinating.
- Skewer the Ingredients: Alternate threading the marinated chicken and pineapple onto the skewers.
- Grill the Kabobs: Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Serve Hot: Enjoy your kabobs immediately after grilling with fresh herbs and lime.
Notes
For extra flavor, let the kabobs marinate longer than 30 minutes or overnight. Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before grilling.
