Description
A classic Philadelphia Cheesesteak loaded with ribeye, caramelized onions, and provolone cheese, perfect for game day or casual dinners.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your Blackstone griddle over medium-high heat.
- Drizzle the griddle with olive oil. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers, sautéing until they caramelize, about 5-7 minutes. Remove them from the heat and set aside.
- In the same cooking space, add more olive oil, then introduce the thinly sliced ribeye steak. Season it with salt and pepper and cook for about 3-5 minutes.
- Return the onions and bell peppers to the griddle, mixing everything together thoroughly.
- Lay the provolone cheese over the steak mixture and cover it for a minute to allow the cheese to melt.
- If desired, toast the hoagie rolls until crispy.
- Finally, spoon the cheesesteak mixture into the toasted rolls and serve hot!
Notes
Add jalapeños for an extra kick or try different cheeses for variations.
