Description
Soft, cheesy, and impossibly easy pepperoni pizza sliders, perfect for weeknight dinners or game-day snacks.
Ingredients
- 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls, sliced horizontally
- 1 cup pepperoni slices
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and position a rack in the middle.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and arrange the bottom halves in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread a thin, even layer of pizza sauce over the cut sides of the bottom halves.
- Layer the pepperoni slices over the sauce, overlapping slightly.
- Evenly sprinkle shredded mozzarella over the pepperoni.
- Place the top halves of the rolls back on.
- Whisk together melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning, then brush over the top of the rolls.
- Bake for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 2–3 minutes before slicing and serving warm.
Notes
For best results, use freshly shredded mozzarella. You can make these sliders ahead of time and refrigerate for up to 24 hours before baking.
