A delightful dessert combining rich chocolate and creamy vanilla goodness, perfect for gatherings or satisfying a sweet craving.
Ingredients
- 1 package (16 oz) graham crackers
- 2 (3.5 oz) packages instant vanilla pudding mix
- 4 cups milk
- 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup milk (for the frosting)
- 2 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk the vanilla pudding mix with 4 cups of milk until fully smooth.
- Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until combined.
- Layer the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish with graham crackers.
- Spread half of the pudding mixture over the graham crackers.
- Add another layer of graham crackers on top.
- Pour the remaining pudding mixture on this layer and top with another layer of graham crackers.
- For the chocolate frosting, melt chocolate chips and butter together in a saucepan over low heat. Mix in the remaining 1/4 cup milk and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Pour the chocolate mixture over the final layer of graham crackers.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
Notes
For a mocha twist, add a teaspoon of instant coffee granules to the chocolate frosting. Layer fresh fruits for added freshness.
