Description

A delightful dessert combining rich chocolate and creamy vanilla goodness, perfect for gatherings or satisfying a sweet craving.


Ingredients

  • 1 package (16 oz) graham crackers
  • 2 (3.5 oz) packages instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup milk (for the frosting)
  • 2 cups powdered sugar


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk the vanilla pudding mix with 4 cups of milk until fully smooth.
  2. Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until combined.
  3. Layer the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish with graham crackers.
  4. Spread half of the pudding mixture over the graham crackers.
  5. Add another layer of graham crackers on top.
  6. Pour the remaining pudding mixture on this layer and top with another layer of graham crackers.
  7. For the chocolate frosting, melt chocolate chips and butter together in a saucepan over low heat. Mix in the remaining 1/4 cup milk and powdered sugar until smooth.
  8. Pour the chocolate mixture over the final layer of graham crackers.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Notes

For a mocha twist, add a teaspoon of instant coffee granules to the chocolate frosting. Layer fresh fruits for added freshness.
