Description

These delicious sliders feature sweet and soft King’s Hawaiian rolls filled with honey-roasted ham and gooey melted Swiss cheese, topped with a buttery poppy-seed glaze.

Ingredients

  • 24 slices deli honey-roasted ham (about 11.25 lb)
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese (tear as needed for coverage)
  • 2 packages (12-count each) King’s Hawaiian original rolls
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt for a tangy swap)
  • 1½ tablespoons Dijon mustard (use spicy brown for more kick)
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Light cooking spray or a little butter to grease the baking dish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Slice both packages of King’s Hawaiian rolls horizontally, keeping each tray connected.
  3. Place the bottom halves into the prepared dish in a single layer.
  4. Distribute the 24 ham slices evenly over the bottom rolls.
  5. Tear the Swiss slices to cover the ham evenly and place cheese over the ham.
  6. Place the top halves of the rolls over the cheese, matching the original grid.
  7. In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, poppy seeds, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth.
  8. Pour or brush the mixture evenly over the top rolls.
  9. Tightly cover the dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  10. Remove foil and bake for an additional 5–8 minutes until tops are golden brown and cheese is fully melted.
  11. Let the sliders cool a few minutes before cutting to separate into individual sliders.

Notes

Serve hot for the best texture and pair with chips, salads, or dips.
