Ingredients
- 12 Hawaiian rolls
- 12 slices deli ham (about 8–12 oz)

- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally into a top slab and a bottom slab. Place the bottom slab in the prepared dish.
- Layer the deli ham evenly across the bottom rolls. Top with Swiss cheese in an even layer.
- Whisk together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, poppy seeds (if using), garlic powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper until smooth.
- Pour the butter mixture evenly over the ham and cheese.
- Place the top slab of rolls over the filling, cover with foil, and bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake uncovered for an additional 10 minutes, until golden brown.
- Let the sliders rest for 2–3 minutes before slicing into individual sandwiches.
Notes
For a softer top crust, brush more melted butter after removing the foil. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3–4 days. Can freeze for up to 2 months.
