Description

Ingredients

  • 1 package of pre-made croissant dough
  • 4 ounces of ham, sliced
  • 4 ounces of cheese (Swiss or cheddar), sliced
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Optional: mustard or other condiments for serving


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to the croissant dough package instructions.
  2. Roll out the croissant dough on a clean surface and cut it into triangles.
  3. Place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on each triangle.
  4. Roll the dough from the wide end to the point, forming a classic croissant shape.
  5. Arrange the formed croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Beat the egg and brush it over the croissants to achieve a golden finish.
  7. Bake according to package instructions, or until they are golden brown.
  8. Serve warm, perhaps with a side of mustard or your favorite condiment.
