Quick and healthy grilled chicken breasts marinated in a savory blend of olive oil, lemon juice, and soy sauce.
Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine olive oil, lemon juice, soy sauce, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl to create a marinade.
- Place chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them.
- Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for best flavor.
- Preheat the grill to medium heat.
- Remove chicken from marinade, allowing excess to drip off, and grill for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Notes
For a lower-sodium option, substitute the soy sauce with low-sodium soy sauce or coconut aminos.
