Description
Whip up these delightful fluffy pancakes for a cozy breakfast experience. Perfect for family brunches or special Sunday mornings!
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter (or cooking oil)
- Fresh fruit (such as strawberries, blueberries, or bananas)
- Maple syrup
Instructions
- Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl until well combined.
- Mix the milk, egg, and melted butter in another bowl until you achieve a smooth consistency.
- Gently pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring just enough to combine without over-mixing.
- Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it.
- Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.
- Serve warm topped with fresh fruit and drizzled with maple syrup.
Notes
Letting the batter rest for a few minutes can make the pancakes fluffier. Don’t overmix the batter to keep them light and airy.
