Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 3/4 cup milk


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Add the milk and gently stir until the dough just comes together.
  5. Fold the dough on a floured surface 3–4 times to create layers.
  6. Shape and cut the dough into biscuits using a cutter or glass.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

For best results, chill the butter and avoid overworking the dough.
