Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 to 1 ½ cups Easter M&Ms (or regular M&Ms)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then add the vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the Easter M&Ms, reserving a few for topping if desired.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a prepared baking sheet, spacing them evenly.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
