Description

Delicious cookies combining the fudgy goodness of brownies with festive mini chocolate eggs, perfect for Easter celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup mini chocolate eggs (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, melt the butter and mix it with the sugar until well combined.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually incorporate the dry mixture into the wet ingredients until everything is fully combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips delicately to maintain some of their shape.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving ample space between each for spreading.
  8. Gently press the mini chocolate eggs into the tops of each cookie before baking.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the cookies are set around the edges.
  10. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For extra fudgy texture, avoid overmixing the dough. High-quality chocolate chips enhance the flavor.
