Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the unsalted butter in a saucepan or microwave. Combine it thoroughly with the granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until the mixture is creamy.
  4. Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Then, gently fold this dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan.
  6. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the batter, and use a knife to create a marbled effect.
  7. Pour the remaining brownie batter into the pan, followed by the rest of the caramel sauce for another swirl.
  8. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top for an extra delicious touch.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  10. Allow the brownies to cool before cutting them into delightful squares.
