Description

Ingredients

  • Chicken (breast or thighs)
  • Egg noodles
  • Carrots
  • Celery
  • Onions
  • Garlic
  • Chicken broth
  • Thyme
  • Bay leaves
  • Salt
  • Pepper


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot. Sauté diced onions, minced garlic, chopped celery, and sliced carrots until tender.
  2. Add chicken pieces, seasoned with salt and pepper, and brown slightly on all sides.
  3. Pour in chicken broth, then add bay leaves and thyme. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Remove chicken after 20 minutes, shred it, and return it to the pot.
  5. Stir in egg noodles and cook until tender. Adjust seasoning as needed.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes
