A delicious recipe for chicken wrapped in crispy bacon, smothered in barbecue sauce and cheddar cheese.
Ingredients
- 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 8 slices bacon
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Coat each chicken breast with olive oil and season generously with garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
- Wrap each chicken breast tightly in 2 slices of bacon, ensuring they’re fully covered.
- Place the bacon-wrapped chicken in a baking dish.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked.
- Remove from the oven and generously pour barbecue sauce over each piece of chicken.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of the sauce.
- Return the dish to the oven to broil for an additional 3-5 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
Serve with coleslaw, roasted vegetables, or in a sandwich. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days.
