Description

A delightful blend of tangy goat cheese and sweet blueberries on a crisp crostini, perfect as an appetizer or snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 baguette, sliced
  • 4 oz goat cheese
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brush both sides of the baguette slices with olive oil and lay them out on a baking sheet.
  3. Bake those slices for 8-10 minutes or until they’re golden and crispy.
  4. Add the balsamic vinegar and honey in a small pan over medium heat, stirring until combined.
  5. Toss in the fresh blueberries, cooking until they soften and release their juices.
  6. Spread the goat cheese generously atop each crostini when the baguette slices are ready.
  7. Spoon the warm blueberry mixture over the cheese and finish with a sprinkle of fresh thyme.
  8. Serve your crostini immediately and enjoy the delightful flavors!

Notes

For a twist, substitute blueberries with figs or strawberries. A drizzle of chili honey can add a spicy kick!
