Description

A quick and flavorful chicken marinade that keeps meat juicy and tender, perfect for grilling or baking.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ cup balsamic vinegar
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
  • ⅛ cup lemon juice
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons dried rosemary
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 chicken breasts or approximately 3.5 lb whole chicken

Instructions

  1. Combine the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, brown sugar, dried rosemary, and Dijon mustard in a large mixing bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Whisk thoroughly until well blended.
  2. Reserve half a cup of the marinade for later use.
  3. Place the chicken in a resealable bag and pour the remaining marinade over it. Seal the bag and gently massage to ensure the chicken is evenly coated.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 24 hours for the best flavor.

Notes

For maximum flavor, let your chicken soak in the marinade for as long as possible. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for three days.
