A warm, gooey BBQ Brisket Melt Sandwich featuring tender brisket, melted cheddar, and buttery sourdough.
Ingredients
- 1 lb brisket, cooked and shredded
- 4 slices of sourdough bread
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- BBQ sauce, to taste
- Butter, for grilling
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Generously butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Place two slices of bread in the skillet, buttered side down.
- Layer on the shredded brisket, followed by a drizzle of BBQ sauce, and top with a slice of cheddar cheese.
- Cover with the remaining slices of bread, ensuring the buttered side is facing up.
- Grill until golden brown, then carefully flip and cook until the cheese has fully melted.
- Slice in half, and enjoy your warm, gooey sandwich!
Notes
Add pickles or jalapeños for extra crunch and spice. You can also substitute with different cheeses or breads to create your ideal sandwich.
