Description

A delightful blend of crispy textures and bold flavors, these Bang Bang Salmon Bites are perfect for sharing or enjoying as a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh salmon (skinless and cut into bite-sized cubes)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or spray for crisping
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha (adjust to spice level)
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)
  • Juice of ½ lime
  • 2 cups cooked jasmine rice (or cauliflower rice)
  • 1 cup shredded purple cabbage
  • 1 avocado (sliced)
  • ½ cup shredded carrots
  • 2 green onions (sliced)
  • Fresh cilantro and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven or air fryer to a suitable temperature for baking or frying.
  2. Season the salmon cubes with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Coat the seasoned salmon in panko breadcrumbs mixed with a bit of olive oil or cooking spray.
  4. Bake or air-fry until golden and crispy.
  5. Prepare the bang bang sauce by mixing mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, lime juice, and honey if desired.
  6. Assemble your bowls with rice, salmon bites, fresh veggies, and sauce.

Notes

For a low-carb option, swap jasmine rice for cauliflower rice. Ensure salmon is fresh and skinless for best flavor absorption.
