Description

A delightful combination of grilled steak, creamy mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, and fresh basil, drizzled with balsamic glaze for a vibrant summer dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ribeye, sirloin, or flank steak
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup balsamic glaze
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Brush the steak with olive oil, then season with salt and pepper.
  3. Grill the steak for 4-6 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting if needed.
  4. Add cherry tomatoes to the grill until slightly charred.
  5. Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  6. Slice the steak against the grain and layer it on a serving platter with fresh mozzarella and grilled tomatoes.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil and drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.

Notes

Rest the steak after grilling to keep it juicy. Use high-quality balsamic glaze for best results.
