Ingredients
- 3 ripe avocados
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
Instructions
- Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
- Use a fork to mash the avocados until they reach your desired consistency.
- Add the lime juice, kosher salt, diced tomatoes, chopped onion, cilantro, and jalapeño (if using) to the bowl.
- Stir everything together until well combined.
- Taste and adjust the seasonings as needed.
- Serve immediately with tortilla chips or use it as a topping for tacos.
