Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup Biscoff cookie butter
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- Mash the ripe bananas until smooth using a fork.
- Stir in the melted butter until well blended.
- Add the baking soda and a pinch of salt, mixing them into the batter.
- Incorporate the sugar, followed by the beaten egg and vanilla extract, stirring until everything is combined.
- Gently fold in the flour until just incorporated, being careful not to over-mix.
- Pour half of the batter into the greased loaf pan.
- Spoon half of the Biscoff cookie butter on top and create swirls with a knife.
- Add the remaining batter on top and repeat the swirling process with the rest of the Biscoff.
- Dust ground cinnamon over the top for extra flavor.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the banana bread cool in the pan for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For enhanced flavor, serve warm with butter or maple syrup. Can be stored at room temperature for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
