Warm, cheesy, and handheld, these vegan pizza rolls are perfect for parties and weeknights.
Ingredients
- 1 package vegan pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded vegan cheese (mozzarella-style)
- 1/2 cup sliced bell peppers
- 1/2 cup sliced onions (red or sweet)
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms (cremini or button)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Lightly flour your work surface and roll the pizza dough out to about 1/4 inch thickness.
- Spread a thin, even layer of marinara across the dough.
- Sprinkle shredded vegan cheese over the sauce, and scatter the sliced peppers, onions, and mushrooms evenly.
- Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Roll the dough tightly from one long edge to the other to form a log. Slice into 1-inch pieces.
- Arrange the rolls cut-side up on the baking sheet and brush with olive oil.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Serve warm with extra marinara for dipping.
Notes
If you want a gluten-free option, use gluten-free pizza dough. You can also customize the fillings to include olives or vegan pepperoni for added flavor.
