Ingredients

  • 1 cup sushi rice
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • Nori sheets, cut into strips


Instructions

  1. Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. Cook the sushi rice according to package instructions. Mix in rice vinegar, sugar, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the shrimp with sriracha sauce and mayonnaise.
  4. Prepare your stacking mold on a plate.
  5. Layer sushi rice, spicy shrimp, avocado, and cucumbers in the mold.
  6. Repeat layering until the mold is full.
  7. Carefully remove the mold to reveal the stacked sushi.
  8. Garnish with nori strips and serve immediately.
