Delightful sandwiches featuring grilled chicken, crispy bacon, and sharp cheddar cheese, drizzled with ranch dressing and topped with dill pickles.
Ingredients
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 1 pound grilled chicken tenders
- 8 slices of cooked bacon
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- ½ cup ranch dressing
- 1 cup dill pickle chips
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the hoagie rolls in half lengthwise, keeping them connected on one side.
- Spread butter on the inside of each roll and toast them on a baking sheet for about 5 minutes until they’re lightly golden.
- Grill the chicken tenders until fully cooked, around 3-4 minutes per side. If using pre-cooked chicken, warm them in a skillet or grill to heat through.
- Fill each hoagie roll with the grilled chicken tenders.
- Layer two slices of bacon and a generous amount of shredded sharp cheddar cheese on top of the chicken.
- Return the sandwiches to the oven and bake for another 5 minutes, or until the cheese has melted.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle ranch dressing over the melted cheese.
- Top the sandwiches with dill pickle chips.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For a spicier kick, substitute sharp cheddar with pepper jack cheese. Experiment with toppings like lettuce or tomatoes for added freshness.
