Description

Delightful sandwiches featuring grilled chicken, crispy bacon, and sharp cheddar cheese, drizzled with ranch dressing and topped with dill pickles.


Ingredients

  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 1 pound grilled chicken tenders
  • 8 slices of cooked bacon
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup dill pickle chips
  • 2 tablespoons butter


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the hoagie rolls in half lengthwise, keeping them connected on one side.
  3. Spread butter on the inside of each roll and toast them on a baking sheet for about 5 minutes until they’re lightly golden.
  4. Grill the chicken tenders until fully cooked, around 3-4 minutes per side. If using pre-cooked chicken, warm them in a skillet or grill to heat through.
  5. Fill each hoagie roll with the grilled chicken tenders.
  6. Layer two slices of bacon and a generous amount of shredded sharp cheddar cheese on top of the chicken.
  7. Return the sandwiches to the oven and bake for another 5 minutes, or until the cheese has melted.
  8. Remove from the oven and drizzle ranch dressing over the melted cheese.
  9. Top the sandwiches with dill pickle chips.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For a spicier kick, substitute sharp cheddar with pepper jack cheese. Experiment with toppings like lettuce or tomatoes for added freshness.
