Description

A delightful blend of garlic butter shrimp and creamy pasta, baked to golden perfection and perfect for family gatherings or cozy nights.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 ounces short pasta (penne or rigatoni)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the pasta in boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat, then add minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  4. Add shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink and opaque, roughly 3-4 minutes.
  5. Pour in heavy cream, add lemon juice and optional red pepper flakes, then simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  6. In a large bowl, mix cooked pasta with the shrimp mixture, half of the parsley, and half of the Parmesan until well combined.
  7. Transfer to a greased baking dish and sprinkle remaining Parmesan on top.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbling and golden.

Notes

For added crunch, mix breadcrumbs with remaining Parmesan before sprinkling on top.
