Description

A delightful blend of rich seafood flavors wrapped in layers of creamy goodness, perfect for family gatherings or cozy date nights.

Ingredients

  • 12 sheets of lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound crab meat
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cups Alfredo sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 2 sprigs parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumb topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Boil the lasagna noodles according to package directions, then drain and let them cool.
  3. In a medium-sized pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  4. Add minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  5. Drop in the shrimp; they are cooked when they turn pink, usually about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Stir in crab meat, salt, black pepper, and chili flakes. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes and remove from heat.
  7. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, half of the Parmesan, one cup of mozzarella, parsley, and heavy cream. Mix until smooth.
  8. Spread a layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 baking pan to prevent sticking.
  9. Layer noodles, spread cheese mixture, seafood mixture, and drizzle with more Alfredo sauce. Repeat for a total of three layers. Finish with noodles and sauce.
  10. Top with remaining mozzarella, Parmesan, and breadcrumbs.
  11. Cover loosely with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  12. Allow it to rest for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with a sprinkle of parsley.

Notes

For a vegetarian twist, use spinach and mushrooms instead of shrimp and crab. Serve with garlic bread and salad.
