Description
A delightful blend of rich seafood flavors wrapped in layers of creamy goodness, perfect for family gatherings or cozy date nights.
Ingredients
- 12 sheets of lasagna noodles
- 1 pound crab meat
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 cups Alfredo sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
- 2 sprigs parsley, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup breadcrumb topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Boil the lasagna noodles according to package directions, then drain and let them cool.
- In a medium-sized pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
- Drop in the shrimp; they are cooked when they turn pink, usually about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in crab meat, salt, black pepper, and chili flakes. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes and remove from heat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, half of the Parmesan, one cup of mozzarella, parsley, and heavy cream. Mix until smooth.
- Spread a layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 baking pan to prevent sticking.
- Layer noodles, spread cheese mixture, seafood mixture, and drizzle with more Alfredo sauce. Repeat for a total of three layers. Finish with noodles and sauce.
- Top with remaining mozzarella, Parmesan, and breadcrumbs.
- Cover loosely with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Allow it to rest for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with a sprinkle of parsley.
Notes
For a vegetarian twist, use spinach and mushrooms instead of shrimp and crab. Serve with garlic bread and salad.
