Description

A quick and delicious Shrimp and Pepper Stir Fry that brings together succulent shrimp and colorful bell peppers in a savory sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2-3 bell peppers, sliced (mix colors for visual appeal)
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • Rice or noodles, cooked for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the shrimp and cook for about 3-4 minutes, or until they’re pink and opaque. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, toss in the sliced bell peppers and stir fry for about 3 minutes, until they are crisp-tender.
  4. Return the cooked shrimp to the pan, and then add the soy sauce and honey.
  5. Stir everything to combine, allowing it to heat through for another 2 minutes.
  6. Serve the stir fry over the cooked rice or noodles.

Notes

For added depth, throw in some garlic or ginger along with the bell peppers. Consider garnishing with sesame seeds or chopped green onions.
