Description

A quick and delicious Cajun salmon recipe paired with a creamy avocado lime sauce, perfect for busy weeknights or entertaining guests.

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 avocado
  • Juice from 1 lime
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Rub the salmon fillets generously with Cajun seasoning and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  3. Bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork.
  4. While the salmon is baking, prepare your avocado lime sauce by blending together the avocado, lime juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  5. Once the salmon is done, serve it with a drizzle of the creamy avocado lime sauce and garnish with fresh cilantro.

Notes

For a twist, consider swapping Cajun seasoning for blackened or Old Bay seasoning, and use lemon instead of lime in your sauce.
