Description

These simple oven-baked chicken bites are garlicky, buttery morsels that are quick and kid-friendly, making them perfect for weeknight dinners or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 to 1.5 pounds boneless chicken breast, trimmed and cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted (or olive oil for a lighter option)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 teaspoon garlic powder)
  • 1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika (smoked paprika adds a nice depth)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the chicken into even, bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a bowl, whisk melted butter, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika until combined.
  4. Add chicken pieces to the bowl and toss until well coated.
  5. Spread the chicken on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes, turning once halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Remove from oven, let rest for 2 minutes, garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

For extra crispiness, toss in panko before baking. Prepare ahead and refrigerate the chicken in the garlic-butter mixture for up to 2 hours.
