Description

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • A pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas with the melted butter until well blended.
  3. Stir in the baking soda and a pinch of salt until mixed through.
  4. Add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract to the bowl, mixing everything thoroughly.
  5. Gently fold in the flour until just combined, being careful not to over-mix.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow the muffins to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding a teaspoon of cinnamon or nutmeg to the batter. Make sure your bananas are very ripe for the best sweetness.
