This creamy, golden-baked chicken features a rich mayo-Parmesan crust, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 to 1.5 pounds total)
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking dish with parchment or spray lightly with cooking oil.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until smooth and creamy.
- Pat the chicken breasts dry and coat each breast evenly with the creamy mixture.
- Arrange the coated breasts in a single layer in the prepared dish.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the thickest part of the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C). Optionally, broil for 1–2 minutes for extra browning.
- Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with dried parsley if using.
Notes
For added flavor, mix in 1–2 teaspoons Dijon mustard or lemon juice into the mayo mixture. Ensure chicken is of even thickness for uniform cooking.
