Ingredients

  • 4 boneless salmon fillets
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • ½ tsp dried parsley or 2 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • Pinch of paprika
  • 1 lemon, sliced into half-moons

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F, fan).
  2. Line a baking tray with foil or a silicone mat to make for easy cleanup.
  3. Lay the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared tray.
  4. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, honey, parsley, salt, pepper, and paprika. Stir until blended.
  5. Pour the buttery mixture evenly over the salmon fillets, ensuring they are well coated.
  6. Arrange the lemon slices on and around the salmon for added flavor.
  7. Bake in the oven for 8 minutes.
  8. Carefully baste the salmon with the sauce from the tray, then return it to the oven. Bake for an additional 4-7 minutes, or until the salmon is fork-tender and cooked through.
