Description

A quick and impressive shrimp dish in a creamy garlic sauce, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat for 1-2 minutes.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  3. Cook shrimp on one side for 2-3 minutes until pink, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to scrape any bits from the bottom.
  5. Lower heat, mix in Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes. Stir until cheese melts and sauce thickens, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve over pasta or rice.

Notes

Don’t overcook the shrimp; they should be firm and juicy. For extra flavor, use fresh garlic and adjust red pepper flakes for more heat.
