Description

A crispy, cheesy chicken dish that brings the classic steakhouse flavors to your home kitchen.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a shallow dish, mix together the bread crumbs, half of the grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  3. In another dish, whisk the eggs and milk together until combined.
  4. Pour the all-purpose flour into a third dish.
  5. Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, then dip it into the egg mixture and coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and mix remaining Parmesan with mozzarella and minced garlic; spread over the chicken.
  8. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until chicken is cooked through and cheese is bubbly and golden.

Notes

Serve with garlic mashed potatoes, steamed green beans, or a fresh salad.
