Description

A delicious and comforting banana bread with a delightful cinnamon-sugar swirl, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • A pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 4×8 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, blend the mashed bananas with the melted butter until fully combined.
  3. Stir in the baking soda and add a pinch of salt.
  4. Mix in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Gradually fold in the flour, mixing gently to avoid overbeating.
  6. In a separate small bowl, combine the ground cinnamon and brown sugar.
  7. Layer half of the banana batter into the loaf pan, followed by half of the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  8. Pour in the remaining banana batter and top it off with the last of the cinnamon sugar.
  9. Use a knife to swirl the cinnamon mixture into the batter.
  10. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center.
  11. Allow cooling before slicing and enjoying your creation!

Notes

For best results, use overripe bananas and avoid over-mixing the batter.
