Description

Warm, buttery, pull-apart sandwiches stuffed with ham and melty cheese, perfect for weeknight dinners or holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 12-count pack Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 810 oz thinly sliced deli ham
  • 8 oz sliced Swiss or provolone cheese
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, finely chopped (for garnish, optional)
  • Nonstick spray or extra butter for the baking dish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Slice the rolls horizontally into a top half and bottom half; place the bottom half in the pan.
  3. Layer ham evenly over the bottom buns and cover with cheese slices.
  4. Replace the top halves of the rolls and gently press down.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, onion powder, and poppy seeds.
  6. Brush about two-thirds of the butter mixture over the top of the rolls.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 12–15 minutes.
  8. Remove foil, brush with remaining butter mixture, and bake uncovered for an additional 3–5 minutes.
  9. For a golden finish, broil briefly, watching closely.
  10. Let sliders rest for 3–5 minutes, sprinkle with parsley if using, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

Store cooled sliders for up to 4 days in the fridge or freeze for up to 2 months.
