Description
Warm, buttery, pull-apart sandwiches stuffed with ham and melty cheese, perfect for weeknight dinners or holiday gatherings.
Ingredients
- 12-count pack Hawaiian sweet rolls
- 8–10 oz thinly sliced deli ham
- 8 oz sliced Swiss or provolone cheese
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)
- Fresh parsley, finely chopped (for garnish, optional)
- Nonstick spray or extra butter for the baking dish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- Slice the rolls horizontally into a top half and bottom half; place the bottom half in the pan.
- Layer ham evenly over the bottom buns and cover with cheese slices.
- Replace the top halves of the rolls and gently press down.
- In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, onion powder, and poppy seeds.
- Brush about two-thirds of the butter mixture over the top of the rolls.
- Cover with foil and bake for 12–15 minutes.
- Remove foil, brush with remaining butter mixture, and bake uncovered for an additional 3–5 minutes.
- For a golden finish, broil briefly, watching closely.
- Let sliders rest for 3–5 minutes, sprinkle with parsley if using, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
Store cooled sliders for up to 4 days in the fridge or freeze for up to 2 months.
