Description

Delicious gluten-free banana cookies that are easy to make and perfect for a healthy sweet treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup gluten-free oats
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Add the gluten-free oats, almond flour, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips, chopped walnuts, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them apart.
  6. Bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown.
  7. Allow them to cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For nut-free version, substitute walnuts with pecans or sunflower seeds.
