Description

A delightful dish featuring succulent shrimp bathed in a buttery garlic sauce and rich Parmesan, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp (21-25 count), peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, or to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. If using frozen shrimp, thaw them under cold running water and pat dry.
  2. In a medium bowl, melt the butter and add garlic, stirring to combine. Then add Parmesan, olive oil, lemon juice, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Toss the shrimp in the sauce, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 15 to 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Arrange the marinated shrimp in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, drizzling any remaining sauce over them.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes, until shrimp turn pink and opaque.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

For a dairy-free option, substitute nutritional yeast for Parmesan. Adjust red pepper flakes for desired heat levels.
