Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp (21-25 count), peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, or to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- If using frozen shrimp, thaw them under cold running water and pat dry.
- In a medium bowl, melt the butter and add garlic, stirring to combine. Then add Parmesan, olive oil, lemon juice, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
- Toss the shrimp in the sauce, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 15 to 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Arrange the marinated shrimp in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, drizzling any remaining sauce over them.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, until shrimp turn pink and opaque.
- Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
For a dairy-free option, substitute nutritional yeast for Parmesan. Adjust red pepper flakes for desired heat levels.
