Description
This garlic-butter-baked chicken breast recipe transforms four simple chicken breasts into a juicy, flavorful dish that’s perfect for weeknights.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 1/2 to 2 pounds total)
- 4 tablespoons garlic butter (softened or melted)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line with foil for easier cleanup.
- In a small bowl, combine the garlic butter, salt, black pepper, and paprika until smooth.
- Place the chicken breasts in the baking dish and evenly coat each one with the garlic butter mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, depending on thickness, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- For a golden top, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end, watching closely to avoid burning.
- Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Spoon any pan juices over the breasts and garnish with chopped parsley, if using. Serve warm.
Notes
If using store-bought garlic butter, adjust the salt accordingly. For a dairy-free option, swap garlic butter for olive oil and minced garlic.
