Description

This garlic-butter-baked chicken breast recipe transforms four simple chicken breasts into a juicy, flavorful dish that’s perfect for weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 1/2 to 2 pounds total)
  • 4 tablespoons garlic butter (softened or melted)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line with foil for easier cleanup.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the garlic butter, salt, black pepper, and paprika until smooth.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in the baking dish and evenly coat each one with the garlic butter mixture.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, depending on thickness, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. For a golden top, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end, watching closely to avoid burning.
  6. Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Spoon any pan juices over the breasts and garnish with chopped parsley, if using. Serve warm.

Notes

If using store-bought garlic butter, adjust the salt accordingly. For a dairy-free option, swap garlic butter for olive oil and minced garlic.
