Description

A quick and impressive shrimp pasta dish enveloped in a refreshing lemon garlic sauce, perfect for any weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz orzo pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Cook the orzo pasta according to the package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat until hot.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  4. Season shrimp with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook for around 5 minutes until pink and opaque.
  5. Stir in lemon juice and zest, then add the cooked orzo and mix until well combined and heated through.
  6. Serve topped with fresh chopped parsley.
