Description
A no-bake dessert that combines crushed Oreos and creamy vanilla pudding topped with gummy worms. Perfect for potlucks and parties.
Ingredients
- 1 package (14.3 oz) Oreo cookies, crushed (about 3–4 cups crushed)
- 1 package (3.4 oz) instant French vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
- Gummy worms for garnish
Instructions
- Add the instant French vanilla pudding mix to a medium mixing bowl. Pour in 2 cups cold milk.
- Whisk briskly for about 1 minute until smooth. Let the mixture sit for 4–5 minutes to thicken.
- Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until uniform and airy.
- Place half of the crushed Oreos in the bottom of your serving dish and press down lightly.
- Spread half of the pudding mixture over the cookie layer.
- Add another layer of crushed Oreos, then spread the remaining pudding mixture on top.
- Finish with the last of the crushed Oreos and arrange gummy worms on top.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
Crushing the cookies into mostly fine crumbs will yield the best texture. Add gummy worms just before serving to prevent them from sinking.
