Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 pound chicken breast, diced
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a slow cooker, mix together the diced chicken, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Set your slow cooker to low and let it cook for 4–5 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
- Once the chicken is done, stir in the cooked rice and broccoli florets, mixing until they are well blended.
- Top with the shredded cheddar cheese. Cover the crockpot and let it sit until the cheese is melted, about 5–10 minutes.
- Serve warm, and enjoy this comforting and cheesy meal!
Notes
For a pop of color, garnish with fresh parsley. This dish pairs beautifully with a light salad or steamed vegetables.
