Description

A quick and sophisticated dish featuring succulent salmon glazed with a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare your baking dish by lining it with parchment paper or lightly greasing it with olive oil.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, and lemon juice until smooth.
  3. Pat your salmon fillets dry and season both sides lightly with salt and pepper.
  4. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the prepared baking dish. Pour the honey garlic mixture evenly over the fillets.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Let the salmon rest for a few minutes, then garnish with chopped green onions.

Notes

For a healthier twist, use low-sodium soy sauce or substitute maple syrup for honey. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
