Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare your baking dish by lining it with parchment paper or lightly greasing it with olive oil.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, and lemon juice until smooth.
- Pat your salmon fillets dry and season both sides lightly with salt and pepper.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the prepared baking dish. Pour the honey garlic mixture evenly over the fillets.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- Let the salmon rest for a few minutes, then garnish with chopped green onions.
Notes
For a healthier twist, use low-sodium soy sauce or substitute maple syrup for honey. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
