Description

A bite-sized take on the classic Cuban sandwich, these sliders feature gooey Swiss cheese, savory shredded pork, ham, and dill pickles nestled in soft Hawaiian rolls.

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Hawaiian rolls (12-pack), uncut cluster
  • Swiss cheese, sliced (enough to cover the bottom half)
  • Seasoned shredded pork, cooked (about 2–3 cups)
  • Sliced ham (12 slices or folded to fit)
  • Dill pickles, thinly sliced
  • Butter, melted (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the Hawaiian roll cluster in half horizontally so the tops and bottoms remain connected.
  3. On the bottom half, layer sliced Swiss cheese to cover the rolls evenly.
  4. Distribute the seasoned shredded pork across the cheese.
  5. Add a slice of ham over the pork on each slider portion.
  6. Top with dill pickle slices.
  7. Replace the top half of the rolls.
  8. Melt butter and brush generously over the top of the rolls.
  9. Bake for 15–20 minutes until cheese is melted and tops are golden. Optionally broil for 1–2 minutes for extra crispiness.
  10. Let rest for 2 minutes before pulling apart and serving warm.

Notes

If you don’t have Hawaiian rolls, slider buns or mini brioche work as substitutes. Use store-bought pulled pork or leftover seasoned pork; just reheat if necessary.
