Description

A comforting and flavorful chicken dish coated in a sweet and savory honey-soy glaze, perfect for busy weeknights or family meals.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken in the crockpot, ensuring each piece is well coated.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Once the cooking time is up, shred the chicken using two forks and stir to combine with the sauce.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

For gluten-free, substitute tamari for soy sauce. For a different flavor, use agave nectar instead of honey.
