Description

A creamy, savory chicken dish cooked slowly in a crock pot, served over angel hair pasta. Perfect for family dinners and busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can of cream of chicken soup
  • 1 packet of Italian salad dressing mix
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • Angel hair pasta (to serve)
  • Parmesan cheese (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, Italian dressing mix, and cream cheese until well combined.
  3. Pour the creamy mixture over the chicken breasts.
  4. Cover and set the slow cooker to cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender.
  5. About 15-20 minutes before serving, cook your angel hair pasta according to the package instructions.
  6. Once the chicken is thoroughly cooked, shred it within the sauce and stir well to combine.
  7. Serve the chicken over the cooked angel hair pasta and sprinkle generously with grated Parmesan cheese.

Notes

You can use low-fat cream cheese or gluten-free pasta for dietary needs. Consider adding veggies or different cheeses for variety.
