A comforting and creamy shrimp scampi pasta bake that is quick to prepare and perfect for gatherings or weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
- 8 oz pasta (spaghetti or linguine)
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook your chosen pasta according to the package instructions until it’s al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink, which should take about 3-4 minutes.
- Pour in the heavy cream, then add the Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir everything together until well mixed.
- Toss in the cooked pasta and ensure it’s evenly coated with that delicious sauce.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish, then sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving, and enjoy!
Notes
Feel free to switch up the pasta or cheeses based on your preferences. Use large shrimp for a more satisfying bite.
