Description

A comforting and creamy shrimp scampi pasta bake that is quick to prepare and perfect for gatherings or weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (spaghetti or linguine)
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook your chosen pasta according to the package instructions until it’s al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink, which should take about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream, then add the Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir everything together until well mixed.
  6. Toss in the cooked pasta and ensure it’s evenly coated with that delicious sauce.
  7. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish, then sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving, and enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to switch up the pasta or cheeses based on your preferences. Use large shrimp for a more satisfying bite.
