Ingredients
- 5 cans (14.5 oz each) cut green beans, drained
- 8 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until nicely crisp. Drain on paper towels and crumble into bite-sized pieces.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth.
- Pour drained green beans into the greased baking dish. Drizzle the sauce over the beans, tossing gently to coat.
- Sprinkle the crispy bacon over the top and bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbly and slightly thickened.
