Description

Quick and flavorful chicken bites coated in a savory garlic-butter sauce, perfect for any gathering or weeknight meal.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken pieces dry with paper towels.
  2. In a medium bowl, toss the chicken with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder until evenly coated.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken in a single layer and cook for 4–6 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through. Transfer cooked chicken to a plate and tent loosely with foil.
  4. Reduce heat to medium. In the same skillet, add the butter to melt and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
  5. Add minced garlic, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and red pepper flakes. Stir and cook for about 30–60 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the buttery sauce. Simmer for 30–60 seconds.
  7. Remove from heat, sprinkle with parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

For dairy-free, use a vegan butter substitute. Leftovers can be refrigerated and reheated gently.
